Jiggly Caliente, a beloved contestant from Season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, has passed away at the age of 44.

On April 27, Caliente’s family shared the heartbreaking news via Instagram, revealing that she died following a severe infection.

Just days before her passing, Caliente had undergone an amputation of her right leg after battling a serious health crisis that had developed over the past month.

According to a previous statement from her family, she had been hospitalized due to an aggressive infection that ultimately led to the partial loss of her leg.

“Due to these medical challenges, Bianca will not be appearing in the upcoming season of RuPaul’s Drag Race Philippines, nor will she be taking part in any public events in the near future,” the family explained in an earlier Instagram post, noting that her recovery would be lengthy.

They also asked fans and loved ones to continue offering support as she focused on healing.

“Bianca’s family and drag family are incredibly thankful for the ongoing love, encouragement, and prayers,” they added.

Following news of her death, many within the drag and LGBTQ+ communities shared heartfelt tributes.
